The Bowerley and its three acres of gardens and
grounds stand on the edge of the picturesque village
of Langcliffe and only one mile from the centre of
the thriving market town of Settle. Within the
grounds are lots of mature trees, open lawns, shady
sitting places, barbecue areas and a grassy
hillside. A small orchard is planned and the walled
Victorian vegetable garden is being restored.
Steam trains run regularly throughout the year and
can be viewed on the Settle-Carlisle railway at the
bottom of the hill conjuring up a feel for the era
of the house's origins and with it an altogether
different pace of living. |
There are three attractive stone built holiday cottages
situated in the grounds of the beautiful Bowerley Country
House. Two of the cottages are available to let: Ribbleway
and Fellside.

barns and stables built to serve the main

The Apartments are a group of newly
converted luxury properties situated in the
grounds of the beautiful Bowerley Country
House.

They were formed from a building dating from
when the property was used as a hotel and
benefit from the very high specification
used in its construction.

Each apartment has a private entrance and
the two at higher level are fitted with door
intercom systems.

The bay windows giving glorious views over the Ribble
Valley and the new extension, both of which are constructed
in traditional Yorkshire stone, match and in many ways
exceed the high quality of the former hotel.

The Bowerley Bed & Breakfast is situated within
one wing of the main house which is the owners private
home. It provides very tastefully decorated bedrooms,
large spacious lounge, dining room and a kitchen catering
exclusively for guests.

The full wing is also available as a self
catering unit for larger groups of up to 10
guests who wish to enjoy a fully independent
holiday.

The B&B also has a separate garden as well as a
private top floor balcony area. guests have full access
to the leisure areas shared by our holiday cottage guests.
