Ribble–Way Cottage

Named after the popular Ribble-way that passes close by, this stone cottage is arranged on three floors and can accommodate up to six people. On the ground floor is an entrance porch and hallway with utility room and cloakroom/toilet off. The lounge-diner with patio-door to the small front garden and sitting area leads to a fully equipped open-plan breakfast kitchen.

The first floor has two bedrooms (1double/twin and one child-room withsingle bed and extra bed available) and bathroom. The top floor has the larger master bedroom with en-suite bathroom/shower and a study/sitting area.

Well behaved pets are welcome to stay with their owners in Ribbleway Cottage.

Fellside Cottage (sleeps 6-8)

This is the largest of the three cottages arranged on three floors with four bedrooms, two on the ground floor and two on the second floor. Fellside is an upsidedown cottage with the lounge and separate dining kitchen on the first floor to take advantage of the long distance views.

Off the entrance porch and hallway there is one king size bedroom and one twin bedroom with French doors to small garden area. A bathroom and utility room complete the ground floor.

On the first floor the spacious lounge with its large picture windows has a living flame gas fire and video/TV/sound system. The breakfast kitchen is fully equipped and there is a second dining area available in the lounge if required.

On the second floor there are two further bedrooms: a double and a twin and a second bathroom with bath and shower over.

The small private garden with sitting area is supplemented by access to the Bowerley grounds and gardens

Fellside is not suitable for pet-owners.

Tarnbeck Cottage (Sleeps 4)

Tarnbeck is a smaller cottage in a different style to the others. With its exposed wooden beams, open staircase, exposed stonework and stripped pine floors it exudes character. There is a flame effect gas fire to supplement the central heating system and to add extra atmosphere on dark winter evenings. Like the others it has been completely refurbished in recent months and is fitted with new kitchen and a full suite of appliances.

Downstairs the entrance porch opens into the spacious dining kitchen which features a wall of glass block-work highlighted by pastel spotlights. Through to the lounge with feature beam and exposed stonework there is a second dining area and a French door opens onto a small patio and raised garden. A living flame gas fire comfortable furniture and rugs provide that cosy cottage atmosphere The open staircase leads to the bathroom and a double and a twin bedroom with beamed ceilings and stripped pine floors with rugs.

We are not able to welcome pets in Tarnbeck Cottage.
